Midfield - bit short of room home turn - nudged along and lost position when not fluent 2 out - kept on - never near to challenge (jockey said - regarding running and riding - his instructions were to jump off - give gelding a bit of light and creep into race; he covered him up but gelding ran in snatches - got shuffled back a little further than he wished as they turned in and he ended up in a pocket; he added that gelding nodded at second last - the others quickened too much for him and his horse finished to the best of his ability; trainer confirmed instructions given apart from that he had instructed jockey to ride on outer; he stated that this is not a straight forward horse and every day is like his first day but he thought he jumped well; regarding the ride given he stated that he felt rider didn't look to push him out close home but perhaps he was running on to horses in front of him; vet said gelding was post race normal.)(tchd 300/1)
