Led - headed and raced in second after 1st - led again 2nd - headed after 3rd - ridden and outpaced home turn - 3 lengths down last - ridden and made strong challenge final 110yds - kept on well and led towards finish (trainer said - regarding the apparent improvement in form - that gelding ran too freely on heavy ground at Limerick after a long break but settled much better today and this - coupled with a good round of jumping - had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form)(op 9/2)
