In rear - pushed along and headway over 1f out - ridden final 110yds - kept on and went second towards finish (jockey said - regarding running and riding - that his instructions were to drop the gelding out - fill him up and present the gelding to finish his race in the best possible position. He added that approaching the two-furlong marker - he wanted to switch the gelding out from behind a rival - whom he was taking the lead from - but was unable to as another opponent was on his outside - so had to switch the gelding right-handed to continue his run. He further added that he was content with his position and how the gelding was travelling in relation to the other runners in the early and middle stages of the race and after asking the gelding for an effort approaching the final furlong - the gelding was able to make up some initial ground and had finished one-paced in relation to the other placed runners)(op 11/1)
