Held up in rear on inner - mistake 3rd - steady headway going easily after 3 out - led and joined 2 out - kept on well inside final 110yds (regarding the apparent improvement in form - trainer's rep said that the riding instructions given the previous run meant that his charge was ridden up with a fast pace and eventually got headed and tired before the second last hurdle - since that run his charge had a wind operation and a tongue strap was fitted today - having been dropped in towards the rear today it allowed his charge to settle and in his opinion he was given a great ride by challenging along the inside and arriving late)(op 12/1)
