Held up in midfield - steady headway going well 3 out - went left last - shaken up briefly run-in - never near to challenge (jockey said - regarding running and riding - his instructions were to sit seventh or eighth - on the bridle - and get the gelding jumping and travelling and to make sure the gelding finished its race. he further added that gelding had jumped very poorly on its hurdle debut at Galway. trainer's rep said that she was satisfied the ride accorded with the instructions given. gelding was suspended from running in any race for 40 days)
